catherine -- just saw yr post

it was important for me to specify the price tag to emphasize the populist nature of the project -- i.e. it's likely within the average wal-mart shopper's means

pointing out wal-mart was to emphasize the contradiction b/t the fact that my project is being put together for a conference (Version>05) that i read as an attempt to subvert the culture machine, while my project's tek is a product of that culture machine

= i find it important to be explicit about the channels thru which i procure the materials supporting my practice

besides all that, thankx for posting my call
