ARTHURFEST SEPT 4 AND 5 IN LOS ANGELES.

ArthurFest takes place Sunday, September 4 and Monday, September 5 on Labor Day Weekend at the historic Barnsdall Art Park on Olive Hall in the Little Armenia/Los Feliz area of Los Angeles.

Nine-plus hours of non-stop exciting music across three stages (two outdoor, one indoor) each day; good food from local eateries; alochol, beer, coffee and energy drinks; lawns, trees and shade (no asphalt! no dirt!); a Frank Lloyd Wright building in his "Mayan Revival" style; polite and helpful staff and security; easy parking....

ArthurFest will also feature rare screenings of the Yoko Ono/John Lennon films "No. 5 (aka Smile)" (1968) and "Apotheosis" (1970), a special appearance by the legendary Henry Jacobs (co-creator of the Vortex dome happenings in the '50s/'60s), DJ sets by Plastic Crimewave, Brian Turner (WFMU) and the dublab soundsystem, food stands from neighborhood eateries, a Neo-Con Banishing Ritual, a special workshop led by New Energy Movement members, an information booth featuring 85-year old bluesman T-Model Ford (the star of Arthur's popular "T-Model Knows Better" advice column) and other attractions to be announced.
