Well, I guess it is time to leave lucipo. First time I felt I needed to leave a list, but hey, I learned.

what is a chapbook?

how is a chapbook publisher the same as or different than a publisher of a one-poet issue of a journal? (i.e., Guy Bennett, Seeing Eye books)

what is a book?

why publish in book form?

what is the role of micropublishing / coterie publishing in a poet's "career" (by which I mean: continuing to write, not jobs, i.e., "early in this poet's career..." or "late in her writing life...")? this is as distinguished from other printed or electronic ephemera?

what is the role of self-publication in a poetry-based career (whether it be running series, setting up / sponsoring festivals, reviewing, publishing books of reviews of criticism, teaching inside or outside the academy, etc.)? this is as distinguished from other printed or electronic ephemera?

is there a way to "support" poets other than exchanging money?

Why leave? It's good discussion. If you haven't done anything to be ashamed of, hold your head high and keep talking.
